ACCOUNTABLE TO:         Account Management Team



            To work as part of the Account Management department and as a liaison to the Accounting department to manage the billing process and oversee client financial budget tracking.  The candidate will work under direct supervision.




  • Develop and maintain billing and budget tracking system for the team and client
    • Facilitate completing estimates and routing to client for approval in order to obtain purchase orders in a timely manner.
    • Assist with issuing invoices to client (production, media, fees) and maintain tracking for account management group.
    • Assist media team with maintaining accurate records of media budgets.
      • Facilitate routing of media plans to client for approval and purchase order.
    • Be the central liaison between the account team and the accounting department to coordinate monthly billing.
    • Alert account and production teams to any red flags
  • Be the primary contact, author and authority for the agency on the client online job tracking system (SASmom)
  • Aid in monitoring client budgets based on plans to ensure spending is accurate and efficient
  • Maintain and forward all accounts receivable information to the client
  • Attend and participate in internal and client status calls to ensure projects are tracked financially
  • Develop and build relationship with client counterpart(s)
  • Assist with broadcast trafficking, union talent pricing, production POs/vendor set up
  • Perform other essential duties as assigned from time to time to meet the changing needs of Martin/Williams



  • Knowledge of the client and agency billing process
  • Working knowledge of an advertising agency including but not limited to media planning and buying; production, fee and media billing
  • Ability to:

  • 4-year degree (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2-3 years of accounting/billing experience
  • SAG/AFTRA talent experience and broadcast trafficking a plus
  • Advertising agency experience
